My mission is to simplify nutrition and healthy living and to make health accessible and understandable for all. I believe we all deserve a well lived life, filled with health, fulfilment and joy.
I began to focus on how work-life imbalances affect health when I directly experienced initial symptoms of burnout as a former youth worker supporting youth living with cognitive and addiction challenges. After rushing through my days picking up readily available shifts, and working against my body's natural biological rhythm working overnights, I came to understand that neglecting proper nutrition, movement and sleep was having a negative impact on my physical and mental condition, making me feel a lack of daily energy and motivation, brain fog, irritability, and weight gain. It was evident that disregarding the balance between work and play would have disrupting effects on my own health and happiness.
For this reason, it became a MUST to guide and educate others on how to adopt lifestyle techniques that promote health and well-being.
